We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Officer to join our team at the Regional District of Central Okanagan. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our Board and executive leadership on governance and administrative matters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice and guidance on corporate administration, legislation interpretation, and regulatory matters.
  2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and bylaws to support the effective governance of the Regional District.
  3. Oversee the preparation and distribution of Board and committee agendas and minutes.
  4. Conduct research and analysis to inform governance decisions and policy development.
  5. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including the Board, executive leadership, and other regional district departments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a diploma or undergraduate degree in Local Government Management, Public Sector Management, or Public Administration, with a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role. You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
