About the Role

As a highly motivated and results-driven Investment Advisor at RBC, you will have the opportunity to build a successful career in wealth management, helping your clients achieve their financial goals and aspirations. With a strong focus on client relationships and personalized service, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and guidance to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and goals, and providing tailored investment solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and economic conditions, using this knowledge to make informed investment decisions and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Work closely with RBC's wealth management team to leverage the company's extensive resources and expertise, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and support.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential clients and driving business growth.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of outbound sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a commission-based environment.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of investment principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a direct marketing role, financial services, and high-value sales and business development.
  • Completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
