Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Operational Strategy: Create and implement operational strategies to drive transportation supply chain initiatives in Canada.
  2. Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Manage large-scale projects, end-to-end, to deploy logistics solutions in Canada, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  3. Develop Functional Requirements: Create localized functional requirements for country-specific compliance, working closely with technology and non-technology teams.
  4. Liaise with Senior Leadership: Collaborate directly with senior leaders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Amazon's overall strategy.
  5. Improve Project Management Processes: Develop and enhance project and program management processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Program or Project Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on logistics and supply chain.
  2. Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to use data and metrics to determine and drive improvements in transportation supply chain initiatives.
  3. Strategic Leadership: Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  4. Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related technical or quantitative field.
  5. Travel: Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Process Improvement Experience: 2+ years of experience driving process improvements in logistics and supply chain.
  2. Advanced Education: Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related technical or quantitative field.
