Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our food preparation areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Organize, rinse, and load dishes, utensils, and equipment into the dishwasher or wash by hand as required.
  • Quality Control: Check completed loads for cleanliness and re-wash if necessary.
  • Reporting and Maintenance: Report any malfunctions, breakage, or discrepancies to the supervisor and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
  • Storage and Organization: Store all clean items in the designated areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Waste Management: Sort and remove garbage and recycling.
  • General Cleaning: Clean all general kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and workspaces.
  • Support Services: Assist with the receipt of goods into the work area and stock shelves.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare some food products as requested.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Ability to exceed internal customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Teamwork: Positive team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Experience: Previous work experience in a kitchen is considered an asset, but not a requirement. Training will be provided.
Working Conditions

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights, based on business needs.
