Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cage Cashier to join our team at CB Canada. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Exceed guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, short pays, over payments, cash counts, coins, and bills.
  • Discrepancies and Suspicious Activities: Monitor and report all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities to management.
  • Float Management: Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants, reconcile closing floats, and transfer and store floats, keys, and record-keeping documents.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all operational departments, including Slot Attendants, Table Games, and Security.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong working relationships with guests and employees, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Compliance: Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary School Diploma; Post-secondary education an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling.
  • Smart Serve Certification: Required or willing to obtain.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
