Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to join our production team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products at the production line level and maintaining the integrity of our quality system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and approve production lines and adjacent areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support the production team during operations and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Perform physical tests, including Aw, organo, Brix, and viscosity tests, to ensure product quality.
  • Develop and maintain reports, forms, and instructions related to the quality system.
  • Work with the JDE system to create batches, block holds, and make ingredient substitutions.

Requirements

  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in dietetics or food processing or equivalent.
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience as a line inspector in quality control in the food sector.
  • Knowledge of the quality system (HACCP) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluent written and spoken French, with functional written and spoken English.
