Quality Control Role at Nellson LLC

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to join our production team at Nellson LLC. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products, from granola bars to protein bars.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting and approving production lines and adjacent areas
  • Supporting the production team during operations and resolving issues
  • Performing physical tests, such as Aw, organo, Brix, and viscosity
  • Developing and writing reports, forms, and instructions related to the quality system
  • Working on the JDE system, creating batches, blocking for holds, and making ingredient substitutions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in dietetics or food processing or equivalent
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience as a line inspector in quality control in the food sector
  • Knowledge of the quality system (HACCP)
  • Fluent written and spoken French, with functional written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
