About the Opportunity

Equitable Life of Canada is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Savings & Retirement Administrator. This exciting role offers the chance to build a career in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering new business and in-force transactions for Non-Registered, Registered Retirement Savings Plans, and Tax-Free Savings Accounts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Issuing new policies, rollovers, switches, additional deposits, beneficiary changes, title changes, surrenders, and other changes or transactions on new or existing client policies;
  • Assessing, processing, and completing all administrative service requests from internal and external clients related to Savings & Retirement products;
  • Providing excellent client relationship and servicing of advisors, MGAs, policyholders, and/or wholesaler teams through various channels;
  • Reconciling simple accounts by verifying ledger entries, investigating discrepancies, and making basic corrections;
  • Handling requests within specified service standard times;
About the Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Prior experience or knowledge in the Savings & Retirement industry, including market disruption, market timing, frequent trading, and late trading policies and procedures;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in PC skills and intermediate Excel skills;
  • A university degree or college diploma in Business or equivalent work experience;
About the Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include an annual bonus program, annual vacation allowance, company-paid benefits program, and more.
