SAJO is a leading general contractor and project management firm specializing in interior retail construction. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator, Design-Build.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide constructability insights and propose cost-effective solutions and design variations.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Assist in managing the bid process, reviewing, and preparing bid documents.
  • Evaluate tenders and prepare cost breakdowns.
  • Negotiate and award contracts with vendors.
  • Coordinate project members, establish production schedules, and revise schedules as needed.
  • Manage budget compliance and process financial aspects of the project.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Analyze shop drawings and data sheets to determine requests for information (RFI).
  • Coordinate production and shipping activities.
  • Prepare and document production, purchase orders, vendor quotes, and other project information.
  • Assist in unit handover, job closing, and post-mortem.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, interior design, construction technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Procore, and Bluebeam software is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, client-centered approach, proactivity, and solution-oriented mindset.
