Co-op Opportunity in Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join our Supply Chain team at Teck Resources Ltd. As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, working closely with our experienced team members to develop and implement efficient supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in research and project assignments related to supply chain management
  • Perform database administration and inventory replenishment tasks
  • Prepare tender documentation and learn duties associated with direct charge buying
  • Participate in business improvement initiatives and build innovative ideas to improve supply chain processes

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Comfortable working in a multifaceted industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical, and operational personnel
  • Willingness to work outdoors and operate vehicles at our operations in various weather conditions and terrain
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the capability to communicate sophisticated ideas to all levels
