Co-op Opportunity in Reliability Engineering

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join our team as a Reliability Engineering Co-op Student. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to asset management, reliability block modeling, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop asset management strategies for asset classes and systems
  • Analyze operational data and equipment performance history to identify key opportunities to minimize risks
  • Generate solutions by applying various analysis techniques to optimize cost, risk, and performance of assets
  • Work with project engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations
  • Liaise with trades and operators to understand how a piece of equipment failed and recommend actions to prevent recurrence of the failures

Requirements:

  • Working towards a post-secondary degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical, and operational personnel
  • Willingness to work outdoors and able to operate vehicles at our operations, in various weather conditions and terrain
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate sophisticated ideas to all levels

Salary Range: $4600 - $5800 / Month
