Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join our team as a Decarbonization Co-op. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Mechatronics Engineering and a passion for decarbonization, renewable gas, and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct data analysis of energy savings and BC Hydro submittals required to access energy bill reductions and incentives
  • Support employee engagement for programs such as Forward-thinking Ideas and Anti-Idling, and energy saving projects
  • Support projects about compressed air system, water management, energy map - automation
  • Cooperate with team on data projects
Requirements
  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Mechatronics engineering
  • Curiosity and passion about decarbonization, renewable gas and environmental sustainability
  • Able to build and nurture positive relationship with external collaborators
  • Ability to communicate with precision in a technical environment
  • Able to articulate sophisticated concepts clearly and in a way a diverse audience would understand
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to connect with individuals of a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Motivated and driven to learn
  • Self-starter with good problem-solving skills
