Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2261094 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of our quality control standards.

Estimate Ingredients and Supplies

The successful candidate will estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.

Maintain Records

The Food Service Supervisor will maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.

Prepare Reports

The successful candidate will prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, providing management with key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year

Language

English

Work Conditions
