Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2261094 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.
