Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to join our team at Keller Executive Search. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of engineering projects, managing the engineering team, and driving innovation and growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to drive product development and delivery.
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget and resources of the engineering department to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the engineering department.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Director of Engineering within Manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with 3D modeling software, experience in running R&D projects from start to finish, and knowledge of drafting software.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is preferred.
