Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Engineering and Innovation to lead our technical strategy and drive the development of AI-powered solutions and services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for shaping our technical architecture, influencing teams across the organization, and delivering customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a technical strategy that aligns with Intuit's business goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver AI-powered solutions and services that meet customer needs.
  • Partner with senior leaders to influence organizational decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and customer success teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Drive innovation and experimentation to stay ahead of the competition and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing engineering teams to achieve operational excellence and deliver quality at speed.
  • Actively engage with external developer and partner communities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in the software industry with a strong background in AI engineering and technical leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality SaaS and PaaS products that serve millions of customers.
  • Experience in making successful trade-offs that balance short-term and long-term product goals.
  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as React, Java, JavaScript, and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Computer Science or related bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

What We Offer

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $253,500 - $342,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs.
