About Kohli & Sons Construction Ltd.

We are a reputable construction company seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter with Kohli & Sons Construction Ltd., you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing estimates, reading blueprints, and measuring and cutting materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Scheduling and coordinating work on sites
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Estimating costs and materials
Work Environment:

As a carpenter with Kohli & Sons Construction Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions. You will also be required to work outdoors and in various locations.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations
  • Valid driver's licence
