Job Title: Skilled Carpenter for Renovation Projects

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team at Lovely Renovation Toronto. The successful candidate will have experience in renovation and construction projects, with a strong focus on maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel and relocate
