About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Sobh Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of floor coverings for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Measurement
    • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process.
    • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors, including resilient floor coverings.
  • Inspection and Repair
    • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain the integrity of the installation.
  • Preparation and Removal
    • Prepare floors for installations by removing existing floor coverings and contaminants.
  • Equipment Operation
    • Employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting and ensure a professional finish.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field.
  • Work Environment
    • Dusty work site environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Commercial and residential settings.
  • Physical Demands
    • Physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Judgement and organized approach to work.
