Job Title: Director, Digital Process Automation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Digital Process Automation to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Operations & Functions Technology team, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation of digital process automation solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital process automation strategy that aligns with the bank's business objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of process automation solutions using tools such as Pegasystems, Power Automate, and Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on digital process automation to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure the bank is leveraging the latest digital process automation technologies.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience leading IT product portfolios, systems delivery, and/or software engineering teams.
  • Exceptional thought leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Deep knowledge of digital process automation tools and technologies.
  • Extensive experience with delivery strategy, governance, and management.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present to both business and technical stakeholders.
