Interior Health is hiring a permanent full-time Clinical Sustainability Coordinator who will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and implementing environmental sustainability initiatives across the organization.

Job Overview

This role will lead clinically focused sustainability projects, consulting with internal and external partners to identify scope, potential impact, and implement solutions that align with Interior Health's sustainability goals and policies.

The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to identify and determine sustainability needs, track progress, and monitor project expenditures, managing timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing clinically focused sustainability projects/initiatives
  • Collaborating with Environmental Sustainability staff to coordinate various initiatives
  • Recruiting, orienting, training, and supporting staff/volunteers to engage in environmentally friendly practices
  • Organizing clinical staff engagement and education events on sustainability initiatives
