We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in long term and acute care facilities in the Little Current area.

Job Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing care and personal support services.
  • Ensure timely and safe admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medication administration and vital signs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work effectively with individuals with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) as well as a negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift times, including eight-hour and twelve-hour shifts.
  • Ability to float from unit to unit within a hospital as needed.
  • Reliability in accepting and adhering to scheduled shifts.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
