Compensation Package

We offer an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of $22.98-$27.17 per hour, classified under OPSEU/VHA Pay Scale Level 4B. In addition, permanent eligible employees enjoy benefits and pension plans, as well as opportunities for education and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

As a Health Services Scheduling Coordinator Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely scheduling of client services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Fielding client calls to schedule services efficiently
  • Coordinating with clients, families, funders, and healthcare teams, including Personal Support Workers, Nurses, and Rehab Service Providers
  • Maintaining client service plans and making necessary updates
Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A post-secondary school education, preferably in healthcare education
  • A minimum of three years of related work experience in a healthcare organization or administrative position requiring extensive scheduling
  • Excellent telephone skills and ability to interact professionally with callers
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the GTA and TTC routes or relevant contracted areas
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, with speed and accuracy in inputting data (50 wpm)
