Job Summary

Cansel, the largest Trimble re-seller in Canada, seeks a highly motivated Sales Professional to join their team. As a Municipal Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling equipment to customers in the municipal, utility, and forestry sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience as a surveyor or in the Engineering/Surveying industry and possess excellent sales and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sales presentations, on-site demonstrations, and cold calling to identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain existing customer relationships through regular contact and development
  • Provide excellent customer service to key accounts
  • Meet sales target performance indicators
  • Participate in tradeshows, training events, and other related activities
Requirements
  • Experience as a surveyor or in the Engineering/Surveying industry
  • Excellent sales and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to spend 40-60% of time on the road servicing and visiting customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field
  • Experience in an outside sales role, preferably in the AEC industry
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
