Job Title: Assistant Professor in Music Education

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Music Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in Elementary Music Education and related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Elementary Music Education and related subjects
  • Develop and implement new undergraduate and graduate level courses
  • Conduct research and scholarly work in Music Education
  • Participate in ongoing research, scholarly and artistic work (RSAW)
  • Provide leadership in Elementary Music Education
  • Participate actively in recruitment and outreach
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate (DMA or PhD) in Music Education or a related music field
  • Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset
  • Strong research and scholarly background in Music Education
