About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residence Dining Operations Manager to join our team at Aramark. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food service operations and management, with excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily food service operations, including delegating tasks and managing staff performance.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and direct all aspects of food service operations.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Manage and direct food production planning, waste management, record keeping, follow up, and modification based on business volumes.
  • Proactively manage food and labor cost controls and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years supervisory experience in a food service environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
  • Previous culinary or production planning experience an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience with scheduling and hiring an asset.
