Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at 1288223 BC Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of staffing and recruitment, from identifying current and prospective staffing requirements to preparing and posting job notices and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure business needs are met
    • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent
    • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications for the role
    • Review candidate inventories to identify the most suitable candidates for the position
  • Employee Relations and Support
    • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
    • Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve employee relations
  • HR Administration
    • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate the termination of employment process
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
    • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
Working Conditions
