Aerospace Assembly Specialist

AAA Canada is in search of skilled Structural Assemblers to join our dynamic team, reflecting our core principles.
In this essential role, you will contribute significantly to a collaborative environment where each team member's efforts propel us toward our shared achievements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the assembly, installation, and subassembly of aircraft systems, components, and parts for designated projects and workstations.
- Utilize technical documentation and directives provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.
- Employ templates and position components according to Engineering Service drawings or other materials supplied by the Methods Department.
- Interpret and analyze plans or manufacturing files effectively.
- Adapt to various assembly types, whether dealing with large or small components.
- Operate and adjust manual or automated machinery and tools as required for the tasks at hand.
- Assemble metal and/or composite components in accordance with the technical specifications outlined by the client.
- Install necessary fasteners, drill holes, and ensure the appropriate products are utilized for assembly, including bolts, rivets, screws, and other fastening accessories.
- Ensure compliance with the specifications for assembly materials such as sealants, bonding agents, and coatings.
- Verify that all assemblies conform to the manufacturing documentation.
- Conduct inspections and checks on installed units, parts, and equipment to confirm fit, performance, and adherence to defined standards.
- Uphold quality standards and production rates.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities encountered during the assembly process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar assembly role within the aeronautics sector.
- Possession of a vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Demonstrated dexterity and attention to detail.
- Quick thinking with a keen eye for detail.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a valuable asset for effective communication in a multilingual environment.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a comparable role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
