JOB OVERVIEW

AAA Canada is on the lookout for skilled Structural Assemblers to join our dynamic team, reflecting our core principles and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the installation and assembly of structural components and systems for aircraft, tailored to specific projects and designated areas.
  • Utilize technical documentation and guidelines provided by the aircraft manufacturer or client.
  • Employ templates and position components based on Engineering Service drawings or other materials supplied by the Methods Department.
  • Interpret and analyze manufacturing plans or files accurately.
  • Adapt to various assembly tasks involving both large and small components.
  • Operate manual or automated machinery and tools as required for the tasks at hand.
  • Assemble metal and composite parts in accordance with the technical specifications provided.
  • Install necessary fasteners, drill holes, and ensure the correct materials are utilized for assembly, including bolts, rivets, screws, and other fastening accessories.
  • Ensure the appropriate products are employed for assembly processes, including sealants and coatings.
  • Verify that assemblies conform to the manufacturing documentation.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments of installed units and components to ensure proper fit, performance, and compliance with technical standards.
  • Adhere to quality standards and production targets.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Report any discrepancies or irregularities promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the aeronautics sector.
  • Possession of a vocational diploma in aeronautical structure assembly or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think quickly and maintain focus on intricate tasks.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a valuable asset for effective communication in a multilingual environment.

  • Previous experience in a comparable position, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
