About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at ABCO Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation
    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
    • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Material Handling
    • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
    • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
    • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the site remains safe and efficient.
  • Site Safety
    • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
    • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The work site can be noisy, dusty, and physically demanding.
