About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Laborer to join our team at Carpet Plus Flooring. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of flooring materials and ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, and tile.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure that equipment and tools are in good working order.
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure that projects are completed accurately.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of construction equipment and tools.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer at Carpet Plus Flooring, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work outdoors and in confined spaces, and may be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards.
