Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients and residents with daily activities under the supervision of the Manager of Patient Care
  • Provide support with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Health Care Aide preferred
  • Completion of a Health Care Aide training program
  • CPR Certification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read/write Cree or Dene languages an asset
Physical Demands
  • Possible heavy lifting
  • Possible exposure to aggressive behavior
  • Other physical demands as necessary
