About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales Associate to join our team at Alcool NB Liquor. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, educating customers on products, and processing transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Educate customers on products and make suggestions to maximize sales
  • Process cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on products and promotions
  • Visual merchandising and store organization
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks in the store warehouse
  • Routine office, clerical, and light cleaning tasks

Requirements

  • At least 19 years old and not currently employed by a brewing, distilling, or alcohol-producing company
  • At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience, previous experience in the alcohol or service industry is an asset
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs to receive and process stock
  • Legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Ability to work flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, weekends, and short notice call-in as required
