About the Job:
We are seeking an accomplished individual for a tenure-stream position as Associate Professor or Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). This appointment will be made in the area of Forensic Psychology within the Forensic Science Program.
Job Description:
This search aligns with the University's commitment to promoting diversity among our community members. The successful candidate must have earned a PhD degree in Psychology or a PsyD (or equivalent) degree from an accredited doctoral program.
Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate students in a degree-granting program, including lecture preparation and delivery, curriculum development, and online material/lectures. Sustain and lead innovative and independent research, maintain an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program. Collaborate with tri-campus departments and pursue cross-appointment opportunities.
Requirements:
Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence through sustained high-impact contributions and publications in top-ranked journals, presentations at significant conferences, awards, and strong endorsements from referees. Demonstrate teaching expertise and provide evidence of excellence in teaching through teaching accomplishments and strong letters of reference.
What We Offer:
The University of Toronto offers a comprehensive compensation package, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary: approximately $160,000-$180,000 per annum.

The Department of Anthropology at UTM offers programs in forensic anthropology, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, and forensic psychology. The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant academic community that values collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
