Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist

The ideal candidate will be competent and qualified to work on wind turbines, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical competencies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Climbing wind turbines to perform diagnostic testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components/systems.
- Completing various reports, checklists, and hazard analysis as it pertains to job scope.
- Participating in company and customer HSE/training programs.
- Delivering exceptional customer experience/service to our partners in the industry.
- FOLLOWING ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICIES TO MAINTAIN A ZERO-INCIDENT WORKPLACE.
Additionally, the Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:
- Scheduled maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators including: inspection, greasing, cleaning, torqueing, and tensioning of bolted connections.
- Applying LOTO.
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Following and implementing work procedures for specific scopes of work to inspect, repair, and maintain Wind Turbine components.
- Polluting, tracking, and communicating client and company documentation on a daily basis.
- Maintaining a clean work area, equipment, and tooling.
- Performing other daily work requirements as directed by Site Management.
- Maintaining required training certifications for position (Fall Protection/Rescue Training,, LOTO, First Aid/CPR/AED) etc.

- Valid GWO Working at Heights.
- Valid GWO Manual Handling.
- Valid GWO Fire Awareness.
- Valid GWO First Aid.

- Valid GWO SGTT.
- GE Tech Essentials.
- GE Maintenance, GE Fundamentals (any platform), GE Converter Training (any platform).
- SGRE Basic Profile, SGRE Maintenance Profile (any platform), SGRE Troubleshooter Profile (any Platform).
- Vestas Training (any platform).
- Acciona Training (any platform).
- Borescope Training.
- Fiberglass Repair Training.
Preferred Work Experience:
- 2 Years Wind Industry Experience.
- Wind Construction (any platform and role).
- Annual and Semi Annual Maintenance.
- Base Bolt Tensioning.
- Oil Changes.
- Electrical Troubleshooting.
- Retrofits.
- Blade/Fiberglass Repair.
- Major Component Exchange.
- Transformer Maintenance.
- Substation Maintenance.
