About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Rockies and River Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our restaurant's unique flavors and cuisine.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, including inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety: Maintain a high level of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as inventory management and cost control.
  • Certifications: Food safety certification and any other relevant certifications.
