Personal Lines Account Manager

HUB International Ontario Limited is seeking a dynamic Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our office, you will be responsible for managing an existing book of business, handling client queries, and ensuring new business and retention targets are met.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of an existing book of business, including client relationships and portfolio growth.
- Handle incoming and outgoing client query calls, as well as priority mail, to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Ensure new business and retention targets are met through proactive marketing and re-marketing efforts.
- Act on cross-sell opportunities and obtain referrals to drive business growth.
- Upsell existing clients through regular touch-base calls and provide advice on policy changes and renewals.
- Conduct proactive mid-renewal calls to review customer information and provide guidance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely manner.
- Input and update customer data, document TAM on all customer interactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in training junior team members and maintain a high level of industry knowledge and expertise.
- Rate and quote new and renewal personal lines risks, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and company procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably within Personal Lines.
- RIBO license required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).
- Experience with EPIC broker management system an asset.
