Personal Lines Account Manager

HUB International Ontario Limited is seeking a highly skilled Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for managing an existing book of business, handling client queries, and ensuring new business and retention targets are met.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of an existing book of business, including client relationships and portfolio growth
- Handle incoming and outgoing client query calls, as well as priority mail, to ensure timely and effective communication
- Ensure new business and retention targets are met, including through re-marketing and cross-selling opportunities
- Act on cross-sell opportunities and obtain referrals where possible
- Upsell existing clients through regular touch-base calls and proactive mid-renewal reviews
- Provide effective and efficient customer service to verbal and written inquiries, resolving client concerns and complaints in a timely manner
- Input and update customer data and document TAM on all customer interactions
- Maintain acceptable accounts receivable and underwriting knowledge of each market, utilizing portals for policy changes and inquiries
- Assist in training junior team members as required
- Rate and quote new and renewal personal lines risks
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably within Personal Lines
- RIBO license required
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel)
- Experience with EPIC broker management system an asset
