About the Role

HUB International Ontario Limited is seeking a skilled Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing an existing book of business, handling client queries, and ensuring new business and retention targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of an existing book of business
  • Handle incoming/outgoing client query calls efficiently
  • Ensure new business and retention targets are met
  • Act on cross-sell opportunities and obtain referrals
  • Upsell existing clients and conduct proactive mid-renewal calls
  • Promptly respond to all customer inquiries and resolve client concerns
  • Input and update customer data and document TAM on all customer interactions
  • Maintain acceptable accounts receivable and underwriting knowledge of each market
  • Assist in training junior team members
  • Rate and quote new and renewal personal lines risks

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably within Personal Lines
  • RIBO license required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
