Store Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team at SKEENA TRADING COMPANY LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and be able to effectively lead a team of 3-4 people.
Key Responsibilities- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and sales volumes.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credits policies.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
