Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at SKEENA TRADING COMPANY LTD.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising and store displays.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
