Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist - Industrial Instrumentation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining industrial instruments and systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing complex control systems.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect operation of instruments and systems, identifying potential issues and developing corrective actions
  • Repair and adjust system components, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Complete test and maintenance reports, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for improvement
  • Remove and replace defective parts, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operation
  • Calibrate components and instruments, ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Determine testing and maintenance procedures, prioritizing tasks based on business needs
  • Install new measuring instruments, ensuring compatibility and functionality
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work, proactively addressing potential issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as electrical engineering or instrumentation technology
  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and automation
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS)
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, as required
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, as needed
