We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Manager to join our team at Pure Pork Farms Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hog and pig farming facility, ensuring the health and well-being of our animals, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of farm staff, including animal care, feeding, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor animal health and implement measures to prevent disease and promote well-being.
  • Manage feed inventory and ensure timely delivery of high-quality feed to the animals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment and machinery, including tractors and other vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of farm production, including animal health, feed consumption, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in livestock management or a related field.
  • College diploma or certificate in animal science, agriculture, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
