Job Title: Livestock Farmhand

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Livestock Farmhand to join our team at VanBoekel Holdings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care and management of our livestock, including feeding, monitoring health, and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses
  • Handling animals
  • Monitoring animal health
  • Perform livestock feeding
  • Treat livestock health issues
  • Feed and tend animals
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs
  • Maintain livestock performance records
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Perform general farm duties

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Work under pressure
  • Physically demanding
  • Standing for extended periods

Requirements:

  • Will train
