Job Description
As a Retail Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in various aspects of store operations, including sales, expenses, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sales: Assist customers with purchases, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
- Expenses: Manage store expenses, including inventory costs, supplies, and other operational expenditures.
- Inventory: Receive, stock, and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate counts and efficient storage.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, dusting, and restocking shelves.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive shopping experience.
- Merchandising: Plan and execute visual merchandising displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Freight: Assist with receiving and processing freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory recording.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should possess basic knowledge of retail operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
Apart from the mentioned required skills and qualifications, you should also demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
