Job Title: Financial Aid Officer

We are seeking a skilled Financial Aid Officer to join our team at North American Trade Schools.

About the Job

This is a permanent position that requires a high level of administrative expertise and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial aid processes
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff to maximize productivity and minimize workload
  • Establish clear priorities and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Administer policies and procedures related to record release and government access to information legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Train staff on new procedures and best practices
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Basic security clearance

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,000 - $50,000 based on industry standards and location.
