We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Village Taste. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Create and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that our kitchen runs efficiently and effectively.
- Food Quality: Ensure that all food prepared in our kitchen meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
- Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Team Leadership: Foster a positive and productive team environment, providing guidance and support to our kitchen staff to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
- Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Asset Languages: Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi are asset languages.
