Pure Life Health Centre is a rapidly growing physiotherapy clinic seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team. Our clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant to manage our front office, supervise patient scheduling, billing, and claims, and provide exceptional customer service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls with a medical understanding and background
  • Manage and staff the front office
  • Supervise patient scheduling, billing, and claims
  • Report directly to senior staff and executive team
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls and sales leads
  • Provide quality control calls and understand and empathize with patients
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A college degree
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and digital software
  • High energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Creativity, initiative, and a team-oriented outlook for problem-solving
  • A talent for finding opportunities for innovation and improvement for the business and the team
  • Experience with physiotherapy office work, medical billing, and/or management
