About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to provide strategic oversight, guidance, and support to all technology initiatives and operations within Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS). As a member of our executive team, you will participate in the development and execution of APS's strategic plan, aligning technology initiatives with the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the IT and enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with APS business objectives.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, corporate IT program portfolio, and information security program, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and exceeding operational and service level standards.
  • Provide effective oversight of financial and performance data, ensuring prudent oversight to minimize technology costs.
  • Develop an annual continuous service improvement plan for IT in response to customer views and ensure continuous improvement in the services delivered.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree with at least 5-10 years of directly related IT experience, or
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 10-15 years of directly related IT experience
  • Proven in-depth knowledge of project management, project controls, procurement, and asset management.
