Customer Service Representative

About the Role
Cascades is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Cascades Recovery + division. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely delivery of raw materials to our mills, executing supply plans, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Planning: Develop and execute procurement plans to meet the needs of our mills, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with buyers to execute supply plans, issue purchase order releases, and ensure accurate tracking and follow-ups.
- Quality Control: Monitor receipt of raw materials at our plants and carry out transactions related to quality issues, as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure all internal procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, managing necessary documentation for material transfers.
- Supplier Management: Respond to requests and inquiries from suppliers and Cascades partners in a timely, thorough, and process-oriented manner to ensure delivery of superior service.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory control team to maintain optimal inventory levels to service Cascades' units.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years' relevant customer service experience, procurement, or supply chain experience in the industrial sector.
- Skills: Proficient in the use of IT tools, including the Microsoft Office suite (Excel intermediate) and cieTrade and/or SAP software packages. Customer-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
